Last week we paid a visit to the 1st Greensville Girl Scouts to talk about our local bat species. We spoke about the common myths associated with bats and educated the girls on white nose syndrome, a bat killing fungus which you can learn more about here. We also spoke about building and installing bat houses which we have been installing in the area. Check out this CHCH story on Bad Company for more info about that. The girls were a great audience and surprised us with a nice treat at the end of the presentation. Thanks girls, YUM!
