Last week Bad Company Wildlife had the pleasure of speaking with the scouts of Dundas about raccoons, squirrels, bats, mice, rats and other types of urban wildlife. We spoke about how to get rid of raccoon’s and how to get rid of squirrels, bats, skunks and rats humanely and safely. The scouts were a great audience and were very eager to learn about the amazing wildlife and how they survive (and thrive) in our urban environments. The scouts also learned about making bat houses and white nose syndrome, a fatal disease that has taken the lives of over 6 million little brown bats over the last 6 years. Building their own bat houses among other things will help the scouts obtain two different badges.
Thanks scouts from Bad Company, you were great!
